Preview Mode

The Preview Mode provides an overview of all files contained in a root folder. If you are in Preview Mode, the hexadecimal data is marked in yellow.

Procedures

Display an overview of all content of a folder in the artifacts properties pane

1. In the file browser, select a folder.
2. Click the Hex viewer drop-down menu, and select Files.
3. To include subfolders, click the Settings button and select the Include subfolders check box.
4. In the displayed file list, click a file to see the hexadecimal data in the Preview Mode.

Note: In the Preview Mode, you can only view the displayed hexadecimal data. However, you can not execute any Hex viewer program functions in this view.

Open a single file and to work with its hexadecimal data

• Click again the selected file in preview mode.
• Double-click a different file.
• Click a single file in the file browser.
